Differential cover with cooling fins 215L

The cooling fins are not a superfluous luxury for this type of differential given the sensitivity of the standard bearings and especially when a limited slip differential is installed. The cooled oil provides better lubrication and more noise reduction.

On some models, the exhaust must be bent a bit because otherwise it will hit the fins (or some fins can be ground away ).

Fits cars with the 215L type differential, this is the large model as supplied on the 335i. The F-series have a different cover, recognizable by the bolt hole in the bottom center for the vibration damper.
